How to Apply

Extended to November 15, 2012: Early Decision with fellowship consideration

January 15, 2013: Regular Decision with fellowship consideration

February 15, 2013: Final Decision

Please note that the MPA ESP program begins on May 28, 2013.

Select the One Year Program in Environmental Science and Policy (ESP)
In the online application, fill out each section of the application, except the section International Fellows Program which is not for MPA ESP applicants, and pay the application fee when you submit.
Give your recommenders ample time to submit their letters of recommendation. You must use the email request form on the application but you should also speak with them separately.
Remember to upload your resume and essay questions/personal statements and make sure that all materials have been submitted to complete your application.
Please note that we now accept and encourage unofficial transcripts to be uploaded.
For instructions on how to complete the paper application, please feel free to contact our office at 212-854-3142. However, it is strongly recommended to apply using the online application.

Please note that you do not need to fill out the following sections:

Concentration: Do not attempt to select a concentration. This question is only applicable for the other SIPA programs, not the One Year Program in Environmental Science and Policy.
Fellowship: Please do not fill out the section at the end of the page that says "PEPM Applicants Only
Language: Please answer questions about your mother tongue and undergraduate language of instruction. You do not need to fill out any other language questions.
